Position Title : Machine Learning Engineer
Job Desiscription : Our start-up client is looking for experienced ML Engineer. Details are below Role requirements Seniority 3 - 8 years of experience in machine learning engineering and can write production-level code. Can be focused on ML platform or ML modeling work Work experience Experience as a Machine Learning Engineer in notable Big Tech companies + startups focused on ads, search, or recommendation systems (Meta, Google, Reddit, Pinterest). Best if Big Tech + startup Experience with core ML modeling - looking for an MLE working on product, NOT ML Infra. They will be building an agent that decides when to spend money vs. not, focused on driving click-through / conversion Hands-on experience developing with Large Language Models, agentic frameworks (like LangGraph), or building RAG systems. Previous experience at a high-growth, venture-backed startup. Education A Master’s or PhD’s degree in Computer Science, OR a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of professional software engineering experience. Degree from a top 25 university program Hard skills Ability to write production-level Python code. Experience with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) or MLOps infrastructure (e.g., MLflow, Kubernetes, serving systems). Data Engineering: Building ETL / streaming pipelines, working with technologies like Spark, Airflow, dbt, or building on a lakehouse architecture. Soft skills Product-minded with a focus on end-user experience. Miscellaneous Must work from the Mountain View office (hybrid available for SF). Salary: $160K - $225K Equity : Competitive equity On-site work policy :In-Person in Mountain View, CA (hybrid if based in SF).
